Our vegetable garden

Debbie shows off our vegetable garden. We've got green beans, tomatoes, green peppers, cayenne peppers, rosemary, thyme and basil. We're planting parsley, sage and chili peppers elsewhere. We're not sure how we'll fare with all the local critters, but we're hopeful!

Great weekend in Mifflin County

Debbie and I had a great weekend in Mifflin County. Saturday was beautiful. I got to do a little fishing and wood chopping while Debbie got a little school work done. Then, we went to Allison's and Chris', got a good, long walk in, with Thad in the stroller, after running to Belleville to run some errands. Later, we got some good photos of Thad (he's definitely smiling now!). After Chris got home from work, we cooked on the grill and had a nice visit. Here are some new Thad photos:

Yesterday was Allison's birthday. She brought Thad over to Hemlock Home for a visit, and we took some more photos... of course! Chris had to work yesterday, but we got to have lunch with all three of them today, before Debbie and I came back home. Notice the one photo of Thad with Debbie. He smiled! He seemed to be smiling when I was singing some of Allison's favorite songs from when she was a baby, too!
