Leaving Reading in a couple hours

Here is Mum Showing me (and all of you) how she is doing her therapy, with the leg with the repaired hip!

Move should be today

According to information I've gotten from Reading Hospital and StoneRidge, Mum should be transported to StoneRidge during the latter part of the afternoon.  I'm always cautiously optimistic until the even actually happens, but there doesn't seem to be anything holding up the prcoess.  More to come later...

Look out StoneRidge!

Woo-hoo!  I don't have all the details yet, but Mum will be going to StoneRidge, where Dad is... possibly tomorrow.  This is will be great for them both.  I'm sure it will help Mum's rehabilitation, and she and Dad will be able to see each other during this time.

More to come once I have more details...

Also, Becca, I'm sorry I hadn't noticed that you commented on one of the earlier posts.  I most definitely will tell Nana that you love her and give her a big hug!

Mum

We just got back from visiting Mum. She's doing very well. She hasn't had any pain medicine yet today, and she is using a walker to get back and forth to the bathroom (with help from nurses).

She hasn't eaten a whole lot yet, but now that she doesn't have so much medicine in her system for the pain, her appetite should improve.

Mum was pleased I know that Dad is doing so well. So are we.

She asked us to send her love to everyone, so here you go: LOVE to EVERYONE!

It's a beautiful day here today. Mum has a view of the Reading Museum and the park around it from her room. We've decided to visit there when she has recuperated.

All things considered, we're fortunate things are going so well.

As we got ready to leave (and when we arrived, too, actually), Dad joked around with his two favorite stuffed animals.

We got to see Dad this morning. He's doing well and asked us to tell Mum he loves her. We're grateful at how well he is doing with the current situation.
