Nice weekend

We had a lovely weekend, even though Saturday started out soggy. Here are a couple photos of Debbie and me relaxing Sunday evening, before starting another work week.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a nice Labor Day weekend in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. Debbie and I spent most of the time relaxing and/or doing chores at the cabin, but we also had a nice visit with Allison, Chris, Lillie and Luke, plus one yet-to-be-named Gerwick.

Debbie caught me while I was splitting an old hemlock that had died standing, which I cut down and was preparing to take back to our home in Berks County. We'll have a few cozy evenings on Golf Road, thanks to that old Hemlock.

Photos from our vacation week

We had a great time last week. Mum and Dad got to visit our new home, and we had a chance to do some serious visiting. Mum and Dad got to meet Debbie's Mom and Bill, and Zach and Kate. We then got to spend a night at the cabin and see Allison's new classroom and have lunch with her and Chris before taking Mum and Dad back home. Below are some photos from our week together.

Progress on the cabin work

We're making progress on our work at the cabin, but it comes in small increments, mostly because we're just enjoying our time here, and breaking from the work to do some other things.

It's a beautiful August morning in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania... but we can feel autumn in the air, which we welcome.

Vacation

Whew! Another whirlwind vacation... but lots of fun and good times! We had Mum and Dad as visitors, with Debbie's Mom and Bill over to meet Mum and Dad, and dinner with Zach and Kate. Then, we got to see Allison's new classroom at East Derry Elementary, followed by a nice lunch with Allison and Chris. I may not be able to post any photos right now, because I'm using a broadband wireless card from the cabin. I'll post photos later, though, if I can't do it here.
